XC70 insurance

Hi, I've just been trying to get some insurance quotes for my 2006 XC70 D5.
When I've insured other cars in the past ticking'factory fitted alarm system' has been enough to satisfy the insurers but for this car they need to know if the alarm is 'Thatcham Approved'. Thinking this wouldn't be a problem I went to the Thatcham Volvo site, https://thatchamfitters.co.uk/car/ca...rity/volvo.htm to find that there is no mention of a volvo XC70 prior to '07.The car is totally UK spec but was first registered in Belgium so is classed as an 'Import' by some insurers which further complicates the issue.
I don't have any documentation that states what alarm is fitted and so far haven't found any useful information on the alarm system in VIDA so I've been going round in circles.
I suspect it has the same system as fitted to the same age V70 but how can I find out what alarm system is actually fitted?

look up s60 01 to 09 or v70 01-07, same car

Very friendly chap on here will check the factory spec from chassis number for you.
