I would like to take legal action against this trader to recover money transferred to him for parts he was unable to supply. I have made verbal and wriiten requests over the last 3 months without result.
I feel it would be more effective for the VOC to take a class action. Is there any support for this idea and who could co-ordinate it?

I just tried to buy a pair of S40 tail lights off them, £30 the pair they said. Great I thought!

How much shipping to Finland? £50.

"Bit much that I'll arrange my own courier send me bank details so I can pay anyway" I says. Gets bank details with "please pay £135" into account.

Is this a swizz or what? Yes I'm abroad, but i'm British, I know the value of the Pound sterling and £30 to £135 does not compute at all. Even with shipping quoted it'd be £80! So where this £135 came from is beyond me!

I'd be VERY wary for any overseas buyers buying from Salvo. It just looks like they make a figure up to confuse foreigners who are maybe unaware of UK currency and think nothing of paying whatever is quoted it must be there or thereabouts..

Very disapointed.
