Default '94 850 heated wing mirror

'94 850.

Just smashed my mirror. I want to disconnect the two wires serving the heated element. They look very delicate, and am a little unsure how they are taken off. Cautious attempts don't seem to shift anything! Assistance will be appreciated.

I have replaced side view mirror on my S70 but i cant seem to recall how exactly i did it. I think the plug thing just pulls out and plugs in without anything special to it. I expect 850 to be the same. Someone else should confirm this though. Picture sure would help!

By the way what is the best way to remove the glass? Like i said i have replaced the other one but when i got my car it didn't have a glass so i didn't have to remove it. Just gently pry it off? Also is there a way to check is the actual heating element in the glass broken, as i suspect it is. Multimeter and check for ohms?
