Default C70 reverse camera location

hey all,
considering fitting a small reverse camera. i was thinking between the numberplate lights.
anyone with a rear camera have any tips on fitting locations, or pictures.

Ok, mine was the later, hardtop C70, but Hope this helps.

I mounted mine above the number plate, it was easy to route the cable so as to be hidden.

Unfortunately the car’s now sold, so I can’t take more pics.

This was my first attempt, while I didn’t use this camera in the end, because it was too large and ‘obvious’, it does show that I attached a thin strip of alloy to the camera, and trapped it behind the number plate. The same method was used on the smaller camera. It was easily adjusted by bending the alloy, and while it might seem Heath Robinson, it worked perfectly, and all that could be seen - see previous post - was the camera itself.

Another tip - I found that the LEDs in the camera weren’t bright enough at night, so I replaced the car’s reversing light bulbs with 21w. I argued that there’d be no problem of overheating the units, in view of the short the length of time they were ever lit.
