Default RE: VOC IS A WASTE OF MONEY

Thanks for all advice guys,
Update on Problem is - I found a volvo specialist in yellow pages about 15 miles from me so paid a recovery company £50 to take it to him,the trouble is he says he is up to his neck with work, so making very slow progress on it, and seems to be working on a few cars at same time cos it arrived with him on the 1st at about 1pm, I rang at 4pm and was told he'd had a quick look and thinks it's sticking tappets and would be dealing with it today (2nd) and would ring me, I heard nothing from him up to 1pm so rang him and he said that Compression was very low and asked what happened because valve timing is about 3 teeth out, I explained running normal, just wouldn't start next time went to use, he says don't know for sure but head may be u/s now and new head not worth getting cos it costs about £1000 for one, is supposed to be letting me know later this afternoon after resetting timing and trying it. time is 4.30 pm and not heard from him. anybody know of a 2.0i 20 valve head for sale? May just try to get another and sell as non runner. It would help if the guy would get stuck in so i know where i stand with it.
If non runner have to pay recovery again just to get it home.
