200+bhp 480 or 440?

The T5 engine and gearbox is going to weigh around 250 kg so the balance of the car will need sorting , all new springs and dampers , fuel tank battery as much as possible in the front etc ..

Here are a few pictures i took at the Car and Car Conversions magazine action day at castle combe in 1994 featuring a rear engied 480 Turbo with the 16 valve renault head on it and turbocharged ..
Just think , those guys are in their 40's now ..
The car ran out of Tax at the end of 1993 so obviosly used as a track car only , does it still exist?

No, but I remember reading that article in Car & Car Conversions mag. Makes me feel old looking back on it...

I think it made best car of the show or top 3 anyway .. didnt realise there was an article on it ...
