Default 1999 V70 AWD (Manual transmission) : ETS light on

Hi all

ETS light is on (and also SRS).
No codes showing on cheap OBD reader.

Car seems to run fine.
Does that mean the ETM and throttle position sensor (near the accelerator pedal) are probably OK?

Is there a Brake pedal sensor on the brake servo and how can I test that?

Thanks
Steve

PS

Running it a bit more, I realise the power is down from what I would expect.

Bluetooth dongle and Torque app, doesnt show any data for Throttle. Why would that be?

Occasionally I get P0300 code.

Any ideas?

Steve

If the ets light is on then there is usually a problem on the throttle body circuit.
However do be careful as a big un-metered air leak on the intake side can bring it on as well.
P0300.. know that code well lol it's random multiple misfire, just means the misfire isn't contained to one cylinder normally.
For the throttle body fault I'd get it on Vida as it can do a test that most aftermarket diag tools can't do on it.
If the misfire is only there sometimes the vida will show it logged and may have another code pertaining to (cylinders)
