VIDA required in lancashire
Anyone in lancashire (clitheroe area ideally). Got a VIDA system to help me wind my rear brake pistons back in with? V70 2008.
Car currently stuck until I can get hold of one. Was lead to believe i could wind them back in using a spare battery but doesn’t want to work...

I have answered your previous post but, if you are still stuck (like I said previously the battery method worked fine for me) you can also do it as per the instructions that come in the box with genuine volvo pads, ie open the black plastic housing and wind the mech back with a torx bit -
Volvo sweden shows you in detail here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QCp9LZ_sOeo Even after winding in the mech you still have to lever the pistons back in the cylinders as you would with a front caliper. |

Again, check your post in the V70 section. Though Clitheroe may add an extra 30min to me getting there.
