Cabin vibration
I have a 2010 D5 XC70, it has a slight resonating vibration which is really noticeable around 1800-2000 rpm. It has had both driveshafts replaced and a R/H front wheel bearing done and wheels balanced. I’ve had 2 mechanics drive it and they can’t feel anything but I can feel it and it’s driving me crazy! Has anyone got any ideas what could cause this? Apologies if has been covered before in a previous thread.

Hi
Sorry, it’s when the vehicle is moving. It’s an auto and noticeable in a straight line and all 4 wheels have been balanced. The vibration was started happening after a Volvo dealer major service. Before components were replaced it was felt through streering wheel with a pulling anti clockwise. Now it’s a very slight vibration, always there in the background but nothing through the steering wheel now. Last edited by Bazza7548; Apr 20th, 2019 at 18:59. Reason: More info added. |

When I bought my car it had a set of tyres that would balance up but gave awful vibration, albeit in the seat of my pants. A change of tyres removed the vibration completely. |
