T5 hard to start when hot
Just had my P1 V70 T5 converted, very competent installer re-installing the OMVL dream system taken from my 850 T5. It is now however hard to start once the engine is hot takes several seconds of churning before it fires up. Cold it is fine. I had the same thing on the 850 but hoped it would be cured on the V70.
Any ideas?? Jim www.dogswheels.com |

does this happen on lpg only ?
petrol only ? both ? may help narrow down the search to either the lpg /petrol fuel system or the engine itself (and sensors).. A suspect of not starting when hot on petrol = crank possition sensor > not failed but failing/breaking down due to heat.

Bernie Lovegrove who did the conversion said it was doing it on both, he said it started marginally better on LPG but only marginal.
Where would I find crank position sensor? May try changing that if it isn't an engine and gearbox out first job. Jim www.dogswheels.com |

Make sure there is no LPG coming out of the vapouriser vaccum pipe. If there is a new set of seal will solve the problem
