200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

just to clarify - using the dremel worked very well and i also cleaned up the fuses with it - i used the small brass wire brush attatchment very carefully. works very well. Also once all reassembled, terminal grease applied

The GLT has now gone to its new owner, Eoin (a member on here and friend of Johns) He assures us that it will be looked after and that he will continue to improve it!

i believe you or Steve once thought about the more modern fuses. Did this never materialize of have I mixed up you guys with someone else?

I can confirm a good cleanup of these fuses is absolutely necessary on a regular bases.

Yes, we still have a plan to convert our 240s to modern fuses, although not had time to do it yet.
