For what its worth:

He was given a lot of advice for free, which he chose to ignore

He was provided with links to official sites which told him exactly what to do. He chose to either not read the info, or completely ignore it. Either way he didn't act on it

He was told how to handle the situation. He chose to ignore the advice

He was told not to take the car back under any circumstances. He chose to ignore the advice

Can you spot the theme here?

A lot of people on here (myself included) invested a lot of time and expertise in this person without any thanks and, as it turned out, to completely waste their time

Do you really think he deserves a cuddle and any more sympathy?

WHAT IS THE POINT IN SEEKING ADVICE FROM PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF TAKING THEIR SUGGESTIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND PUTTING IT TO GOOD EFFECT?

With the greatest of respect 961, this forum and most particularly the respondents to this thread have nothing to be ashamed of. There is only one person who took part in this thread who has some apologising to do..................

Two complaints about your post going a notch or two too far there Andy, although I understand the sentiment.

I agree...snap goes the padlock!

cheers

James

Think it is time to reflect and think before any further posting takes place.
It is now becoming a step beyond giving support and advice.
Note: this thread is now liable to be edited.
