Slightly random request I realise: I'm after the acorn nuts from the rear, bottom shock mounts if they're in reasonable condition please!

I have one in beige

My only postage option is via the Royal Mail (Parcelforce), and as it would be over 1.5m in length the postal charges would be ridiculously high.

Your best bet would be to keep an eye on ebay and wait for one to appear locally to you - if they are "collection only" they sometimes sell very cheaply.

Just a suggestion, but you could bang the measurements (allowing for bubble wrap etc so add a few cm all round) into www.parcel2go.com for a price, you might be pleasantly surprised

Jay.

The costs are great, but its the waiting in all day for couriers to turn up that I simply can't do.

I work from lunchtime onwards, and it seems impossible to get couriers to guarantee to turn up before then - hence why I'm stuck with using the ripoff RM The few bits I've listed on ebay have ridiculously high postage costs so they're not attracting much interest.

I'm out in the sticks so my nearest Myhermes is 50 miles away, and having used collect+ in the past I'd rather stick a red hot poker up my jacksie than use them again (and they'll only ship small parcels)........... but that's the price you pay for living by the sea, and surrounded by beautiful countryside :-)
