Default XC60 options

hi guys and ladies

whats the best to go for in relation to the pre newest model
XC60 diesel manual
XC60 diesel automatic
XC60 petrol manual
XC6O petrol automatic
i know its own down to personal preference but im thinking in terms of less things that are required to do to a particular model i.e no clutch or gearbox to replace for an automatic etc

I would have thought a manual had less to go wrong with it than an automatic, unless of course the gears have been crunched by bad driving.

I’d keep the car you have, less depreciation and dealer bites of the cherry (usually 2 bites taking most of the good leaving you with a nasty stone worth b all.)

I'd agree with that - unless you know you have problems looming. Save your pennies. Unless you are buying 'new', you could be swapping a trusted friend for an unknown quantity.
