Default Lambda sensor removal

Anybody got any bright ideas on the best way to remove one of these THINGS. Have been underneath with big bar and socket, also spanner and lump hammer. Still seized solid, despite attempts with blowlamp. Have soaked with WD, think Cat will have to come off.
Any suggestions?

You can probabley borrow one from the VOC. They have a tool loan scheme for members.

Cheers,

Remove the Cat, clamp the sensor in a heavy vice, then just lean on the projecting section of exhaust pipe.

Not much help, but FWIW.... With my 480 & 850, I just took them for a blat to get things well hot & they both came out using a ring spanner, fed over the unplugged wires..... But you probably did'nt wanna hear that!
Good luck in any case

It's turning into a bit of a saga, this!
Thanks for the tips, guys.
Hope the sensor solves the prob, not wanting to go on parts spending spree until one of them works!

After soaking Sensor with WD, leaving for a day , then warming engine up, off it popped straight away. No threads left on it, mind. Fitted by Gorilla, me thinks.
