Default Rear Wiper Part Number Query

I have a V70 D5 2005 with a faulty wiper motor, part number 8667188.

I ordered a second hand replacement off Ebay with the same part number and showing the same motor in the pic. What has turned up looks pretty much the same but is a Bosch unit with part number 9154525.

Will this one work ok?

I don't know. I'm guessing it would. Make sure any used one is greased before installation.

If I was in your position I'd plug it in and see if it worked. Of course that means you have to disassemble your liftgate (begin the job) to gain access to the electrical connection.

Are you asking to help decide whether to return it on general principals (their misrepresentation) or not?

Your call. The lesson here is to ask the seller before buying anything on Ebay.
