See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8whjrksd0I

I got myself from RED tint / ORANGE tint (might not bother with) and CLEAR coat.

Have a watch of this you video. Ideally you should rub down the lights but I just cleaned them.

I have yet to add clear coat. I will also be changing to LED bulbs of the correct colour.

Seems an expensive way to go about it, I've always used fine grade wet and dry followed by a cutting compound and finish with a good sealant.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382-Cob-l...72.m2749.l2649

I picked up some 382 LED bulbs for the turn signals. I thought I might have issues and of course I did.

The bulbs flashed very quickly due to lack of resistance. The bulbs are well made which surprised me nicley. I next picked a LED flasher from ebay and waited and waited and found it did nothing when plugged in.

However I took the relay apart and turned the + and - around and bingo it now works!

reset.jpgI found a SRS fake fix.

This https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SRS-AIRBA...72.m2749.l2649 I have a 20% off code if anyone want's it.

I wired this in and set the pot to about 5secs.

12v LED or could have used the OEM bulb with some hot glue and not being on the PCB (no double 12v)

Clearly the car now has no air bags but for the MOT i hope it's good enough. Dodgy yes!

(also posted in the SRS reset thread)

And finally today let me show you my ebay drill. The big one picked up for £37 from a local guy.
This took 2 of us to pickup and works very well. The little one went to a mate for free to help him out. Happy days!

The big drill has a nice top case, looks 1960s/1970s to me.

Looking online it could be as old as 1940's who knows but it's super duty and I love it.

I replaced my old charge cooler tank (2.5lt) to a larger 4.5lt tank and it fits the space just right. Not sure if I posted the charger cooler end tank elbow mods but here it is.

Now with the larger tank when the system is totally filled it's 6.5lt. I'm very pleased and that side of the engine stays cool anyways so no heat soak. It's taken a lot of planning to reach this stage.

My exhaust valve is also fixed. It was blowing the fuse because the gears inside has jumped. All ok now.
