No, it was pure luck that i typed the search for 940 volvo on the gumtree the other day and the advert had just been posted locally 2 minutes previous, and within 15 mins i was at the doorstep with the £250.

I am taking the engine and gearbox , injection system, and the egg crate grill. the rest, pale blue metallic bodywork with disgusting dhiorea brown leather interior is getting the heave.

It has not got a lsd axle, the tyres are perished and the rear end is rusty at the jack points , should get about a hundred at the weighbridge.

I am planning a 16v turbo conversion for my sports edition.

Now to find a 850r for the flywheel and turbo

dont forget , pedal box , slave cylinders, throttle cable , (prob lots more) , that are NLA from volvo and dont fit 8vs.....

Do not break - restore. But if you have a spare cam carrier and cam cover (16V) I might be interested.

Is the clutch an 850 one if so how much and will it fit 940 ttv flywheel with 850r clutch

no it wont , its a twin plate clutch and the flywheel is drilled as such ....
