Have the above car available for spares.

I had it for the steering rack, cylinder head and radiator, but most other parts available.

I was just looking at your project thread and noticed the rear lights were pretty good or at least the one in the picture was ! Might be interested if they are both in really good condition. I'm thinking about getting new ones if I can see any good ones around, might be something you want to keep as spares though. With things the way they are with breakers yards having a whole spares car seems to be the best way.

No worries Steve - unfortunately, they are both destined for the 740 - one of my originals had faded badly so these two are its replacement.

I totally agree, I didn't want to scrap another car but if i'm getting one working car from two broken ones, it does make more sense. Plus having the spares to hand is so much easier, if there's anything else I find I need I can just see if this car has got it.

Mine are biodegrading I think !
I rub grease onto them which fills the cracks but I don't think they will last much longer.
Thanks anyway.

After the rear centre seatbelt & belt catch assembly, assuming this is the lap belt only type not the 3 point seatbelt introduced from 1993.

Also what colour interior is it? Cloth or leather?

Default Instrument cluster

Hi Paffel,
I am interested in the instrument cluster and in particular the speedo unit as a replacement for my 1993 960 unit. I think they were the same Yazaki units with a black face. Do you know if yours was working and is it available?
I am in west London and can collect.
Cheers
Mr G Halanen.

Default Sunroof Switch

I see the car has a sunroof. If it's electric there should be a sunroof switch just below the instrument binnacle. I'm after one of those please - although I am far from clear how to get it out!

I'd also like the screenwash jets please (they are a LOT better than the earlier ones which are still on my 765T)
