Volvo 940 Parts for free (Dublin, Ireland)

Hi All,
I have a large quantity of parts left over from my 2 Volvo 940 estates. I need to give them to someone who can take all the parts together preferably. Any non required parts will be disposed of as I do not have the storage space. I would like these parts to help keep another 940 on the road. If necessary, I can post smaller items at postage cost to the UK. I can deliver them anywhere in Ireland for cost of diesel for the round trip. All parts came from either a 94 940 2.0 Turbo Estate or a 96 940 2.3 LPT Estate (there are 10 to 12 boxes of stuff in total plus the larger items)

Front and back black bumpers
Repainted tailgate (no corrosion, in Green Metallic)
6 Headlights ( with working wipers on some of them)
Black Unpainted LH & RH wingmirrors
Plastic floor trays for footwells
Full length roofrack
4 Snow tyres on steel wheels
Grey door card set ( no wrinkles)
2 tail lights
2 steering racks
1 PS pump with pipes
2 radiator supports ( saved from the cars as I know they rust and cannot be got new)
Ratiators ( Turbo type)
Intercoolers
Intercooler hoses
Starters
Altenators
ABS units
Mastercylinders
Various ECUs , electronic boxes and relays
Felt inside trim for sunroof
Full set of door glass & estate side windows
wheel trims
front indicators
Air Mass Meters

2 front grilles
Other parts I have not listed here as well .

Hi All,
Current status of parts is as follows: To be fair, I listed requests by time / date of request

Yoda960 (some small items)

Bob12 (some small items)

Greenestate ( all items )

Rod25 (all items)

Palmer ( door cards)


The first 2 people are to get requested items if part numbers match. I will speak to Greenestate and Rod 25 about splitting the items to suit their needs ( and estate vs saloon items) as there are multiples of some items. If they do not require the door cards, they may go to Palmer. If I find other items not listed, I will post details.

Hi ivor940,

Do you still have the following bits: Plastic floortrays / roofrack / snow tyres / wheel trims / front indicators / airflow meter (for the 2.0 turbo) / idle control valve / door mirrors / front bumper. I don't suppose you have a tow bar too?

Sorry its a bit of a 'shopping list'.

I have relatives in Dublin (Finglass) and also Ardee so could arrange for them to accept a delivery!

Pm me with how much would you want for the fuel to deliver them and to include a few pounds for your trouble/time?

Hi Ivor 940,

Appreciate I am a late entry but looking for an OS headlamp wiper motor for a 97 940 SE (the headlamp with built in fog/spot lights). Happy to cover postage and a few pints of the black stuff for you efforts.

If I am too late I understand but thanks anyway for offering this treasure trove on the forum.

Hi Roger,
Unfortunately I do not have the manifold. I had to scrap the bigger bits last year ( doors / engines / gearboxes /back axles/ seats). The listed bits are the bits I was able to save. ( My wife found that the attic &, behind the plants in the back garden was full of large quantities of Volvo 940 parts "hidden" - she came home early from shops while I was moving bits around )

Sorry to be late too but I'm after key fobs from a VolvoGuard II system. Apparently though, there are 2 different frequencies & even a garage cannot tell which is which, you just have to try on the car? I'm after as many as I can ??
