Default Comparative wheel sizes

I'm looking to change my current rims to Pegasus or R design alloys (or are they the same?). But before I do I need to know that the pcd, offset, etc. are compatible with my car. Is there a website or comparison table anywhere that i could use? I'm currently looking at 17" or 18" 2003 V70 R wheels to fit to mine, a 2008 facelift V50. Thanks again 👍

Thanks for the replies and links. As expected this is not as straight forward as it looks! Initial research seems to show that the Pegasus rims won't fit a V50 as the centre bore and offset are different.

I also need to research whether going from a 17" to 18" rims will alter the amount of offset required, and if so how much. I also need to find out whether i can fit a rim with a slightly bigger centre bore diameter safety as well. If anyone has any information on this or can point me in the right direction it would be gratefully received. Thanks.

I think the V50 can handle anything from 46-52.5mm offsets depending on the width of the wheel.

The bigger centre bore isn't a huge issue as you can fit spigot rings that shrink it down to 63.4mm

Any other wheel that is 5x108 PCD and 63.4mm centre bore or bigger should fit the V50.

You can fit pegasus rims to a C30/S40/V50 with hub-centric rings as the hubs on an S60/V70 are fractionally larger. It was common practice in the USA and you'll find a few folk on swedespeed that fitted pegs. The offset is indeed different but I don't recall anyone on those forums calling out issues with rubbing.

Thanks for those replies, some really helpful info 👍

Regarding the offset. How does the width of the wheel affect the offset measurement? I.e. is it the wider the wheel the less offset required, or the other way around?

I thought the bigger offset moves the wheel further away from the car, to adjust for the tyres rubbing on the inner arches when they're fatter.
