DPF fluid level error
Hi there, the Danish Forum is unable to help me, so hoping all you smart overseas people might be able to do so
Volvo V50, 2.0D from 2008 (the PSA engine with separate Diesel Particle Fluid tank for the filter) I got the fault - ADM-0004 Additive, tank level Level too low and of course - ADM-0005 Additive, tank level Level low This causing a - ECM-2584 Additive dosing module (ADM) Faulty signal I added new DPF fluid, but the fault remains. I used VIDA to reset the fault, even had the battery disconnected for a long time. The fluid have been in the tank for a few months now and I tried some light knock/push on the tank hoping the the level sensor was stuck - all without any success. It seems like the level sensor is a part of the small DPF tank, so do I need a new tank or any other suggestions? |

Have you checked in Vida to make sure the counter has been reset and the level is reset? I’d a physical readout on Vida to say the tank is 100% full.

Went in and pressed the button to reset the Tank Level - and ta-da... Now it knows the tank is full - error now gone |
