Sorry but I have a related question rather than an answer.

Have you tried the ventilated seats on a lux, do they really keep you cooler? Have travelled in a Merc SL500 with them (you could set the fan speed on each seat separately) and they were great.

I've got ventilated seats on my SE Sport and they work. With the recent 32C temperatures we've had, they've really helped keep your back cool during a drive.

Great, sounds like they are worth getting. I like leather apart from when its too hot. Is the fan speed controllable?

Do you know what, I've never actually messed about with that. I just press the button on the console and I get a lovely cool breeze blow through. Not too sharp either, just gentle.

When I get out in it this evening I'll have a play. I normally just leave my climate control on auto.

Yes, there are 3 settings, just like the heated seats.
They are brilliant.

Agree, and the V manual recommend u can use them combined with the heated seats
as to dry clothing when wet. did it today to great effect.
Manual recommend to run cooling on setting 1-2 as not to catch a cold
so it's worth turning it down after a while.
