Excellent mate, well done for organising the meet.
Me and the missus can't come alogn unfortunately, it's her that has 2 volvos, one 850 runaround and one modified T4 in it's 2nd period if incarnation, we just got engaged last week and are away for a few days leaving on that sunday. Lesmahagow eh for your location, small world, we live in Lanark just 5-10 mins away depending what your driving and how hard you try lol but I grew up in Lesmahagow and lived there for 24 years until I moved in with Jacq a couple of years ago, my mum, dad and brother still stay there, just 60 seconds walk from Chip Tuning Scotland actually. Hopefully make the next one. Ross

Cheers Iain, congratualtions are much appreciated and well recieved, was about time I made an honest woman of her lol, I dare say she could do better but she said yes anyway so I count myself a lucky man and look forward to the future.
We wont vanish though lol, I'm all set to get the Rover back in action on the 25th at Crail for a runway based track day in as raw a track spec as I can get it, and we chased the T4 up today so hopefulyl have it at least on the road for the beginning of december and beingb run in ready for mapping, fingers crossed. Anyway, gone a bit OT, good to see a scottish meet being organised, hopefully get along to one soon and even better bring the T4 which should hopefully interest some peeps, after all, the OLD spec was 265 bhp and 305 lb.ft, 14.2 @ 101.1 standing 1/4 and 0-150 in 1.2 miles, new spec should be good Ross

Ross 9, Congratulations to both of you!!
Would be great to meet up sometime, don't worry though, this is just the first one, there will be more meets to follow in the new year, once the weather is better. I've only just moved here 4 weeks ago from Ashgill. I didn't know about Chip Tuning until last week. Very handy, just 2 mins up the road. Last edited by locky2306; Nov 14th, 2006 at 22:46. |

Hi mate,
No bother, if you have SATNAV here is the Postcode that will take to where we will be ML1 3RB. If not, it will be M6 > A74> A74(M)> M74 You will be leaving at Junction 5, of the M74 N/B, this will take you to the Raith Interchange, keep to the right, as you approach the traffic lights, and follow it all the way round and take the 5TH exit, signposted STRATHCLYDE PARK AND CARLISE. Shown as a star on the map I made earlier ( Blue Peter badge for me ) Once you enter the park, take first right, and you'll see us. My contact number is 07794067080, should you or anybody else get lost. Last edited by locky2306; Nov 16th, 2006 at 00:16. |
