Exclamation Sudden loss of electric windows and seat???

Hi all, it's been a while... The trusty XC60 has just ticked over 104k miles...

This morning I have complete loss of certain electrics: drivers windows, power seat, mirrors... But I do have internal lights, Aircon, keyless drive, vanity lights and electric locking.

I'm thinking to check the fuses shortly but weirdly, the dash cam which runs off the seat fuse is working...

Passenger window works so seems to be contained to driver's door electrics.

Any suggestions

Hi,

If fuses are all OK, I would check cable that connects door to the rest of the car. Looks it's one of the familiar issues with Volvo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kfnhy0nCaRA

Fuses seem to be ok...but will go try and replace the driver's door one anyway

Charge your battery first before you start ripping things apart.

It's a fairly new battery. Quite possibly something wrong with the loom or modules inside the door...booked in to the stealers for a million pound repair in the next couple of weeks. Sorry kids no holiday this year haha

Is it going to the dealers for things other than the door bits not working? Having watched the video, to wrap a couple of cables with tap is not hard or expensive, and could save a fortune.
