I have Green Flag , it’s a cheaper policy. It’s proper recovery but it’s £20 odd quid , annually, with an extra £45 payable, if you call them out. It’s open , only to cars under fifteen years old.

I’ve yet to test it!

To be fare, the AA done him ok....ok after a bit of faffing about.
The car was fixed at roadside and not recovered ?
Remember only the AA and RAC have a patrol force, all the rest use garage agents.....and that might just be a driver in a flat-bed with no tools and no parts/consumables, fine for a con-rod hanging out the side of the block but not so good if you're needing a roadside fix?
