Thumbs down Just bought a new xc90

I have just bought my new xc90 r design - However when I accelerate a loud beep can be heard. Every time I stop and then accelerate the beep happens again - How do I turn this off, it's VERY annoying

When you say a loud beep can you expand on that?

I also have a new XC90 R Design. Picked it up last Tuesday. I certainly haven't heard a beep from mine when accelerating.

The only other thing I can think of is if the foot/handbrake hasn't been fully released.

I've just gone through my owners manual (mine is a 2011 model yr), and can find nothing that can or should beep like you describe apart from seatbelt not on which I know you've ruled out, hand/foot brake still on, door open etc.

Tried your dealer?

I will try them in the morning - I am sure it is something simple!

Anything on your passenger seat at the time that could have set of the seatbelt alarm?

My bag has done this in the past. Every time I went over a bump a would hear a beep.

Thank you everyone - I have found the problem. I believe it to be the parking sensor - which may be faulty.
