XC70: General - Used parts for older vehs?

Do any members know where I could find a Angle Gear for my 2000 XC70 AWD?
I can't find any sources for the 'older' vehicle.

I'd start on e-bay, search for the angle gear specifically and if not luck I would then search for "breaking xc70" or "breaking V70 AWD" - you often find people breaking old cars at home or smaller dismantlers advertising in that way.

I'd also read up on the AWD versions, you might find that the transfer box was used on other later/earlier cars - maybe the R/AWD models?

Put a 'wanted' ad in your vehicle's forum section.

I sold my spare angle gear (and matching manual gearbox) a year or two ago, after advertising it here - they are out there, just not very plentiful so you'll need to be patient I'm afraid.

Hi.
A lot of volvos are now being scrapped in europe . You may do better searching there. Holland and Belgium are good search areas.
Your vehicle year is the same as 1998 , 1999 apart from the drive flange which is a straight swop.
The usual failure on these units is the splined sleeve which is repairable and the parts are available.
