Default 2019 v90 front passenger seat

Anyone know if it’s possible to lay the front passenger seat flat (fold forward). Every one of my previous v40, s60’s, v70’s, xc90 and c70’s have had this to take long loads but cannot see any clips/buttons to do it. Flipping typical I need to transport a long load and can’t find out how to do it. Don’t have the full manual with me at present.

Afraid not - it's one of the few things I don't like about the V90, losing that functionality..

Thank you St Evelyn. Sorry i posted in wrong forum - was on small phone at the time. Its a shame - don't need it often, but there has been a few occasions when i have needed it and could work out how. Agree, there are a few things on this which appear to be a backward direction - like the lack of knobs for adjusting climate temperature, and often needing to press the screen 2 or 3 times to get to a function - where old models had one buttons which was simpler and easier. I've still not got the voice control working properly and the seats are not as comfy as my previous V70's, S60's or XC90's. Think i'll go back to a second hand model when this finance deal is up.

No problem Beavis.

I've gotten used to this version of Sensus now so find most things easy to use - the climate temperature is definitely one of those thing that's easier to change by voice when driving; "temperature XX" is all that I say and it seems to work well.

Yes, much like you, the first time I couldn't get the seat to go forwards was when I had a long load to put in, so ended up having to recline the seat instead, sure that I was being a muppet and just not knowing how to do it (my V90 has full electric / memory passenger seat whilst the S80 & XC60 were manual so I thought it may be different). Couldn't believe it when I found that they'd launched the SPA cars without this feature, although I was relieved that it wasn't me being stupid, lol.

Right forum for the question but the answer is no.
O/K I may be a Luddite I agree with you about some of the controls ( I'm on my 2nd V90). I suppose it's a matter of fashion and marketing over common sense. Regarding the seats' in my first 90 they were every bit as comfortable as my V70. However, the seats in my present V90 R Design are, by comparison, ****. They look everything but in comfort terms, forget it. I doubt that my next car will be a Volvo.
