Ordered a set of these today from my local Volvo dealer - arriving tomorrow morning.

The Part Number 32288517 is OK for MY22 - I checked this with the parts dept before ordering.

> Does anyone happen to know if the MY22 'XC40' also suffers with this problem?? <

Cheers

I ordered mine last Thursday and picked them up next morning.

Not fitted them yet, but hopefully soon.

Problem still exists on a brand new XC60 2023. Ordered the part, fortunately my car is Onyx black and hoping this thing disappears.

They work well and look like they are part of the car, a worthy addition.

Like some other posters on here I found the nearside one is a poor fit.
Thinking of attacking it with a hot air gun to get a better fit.
I will post the results if I'm not to embarrassed .

Default Success !

Thanks to all for the info on this thread regarding the muck ingress on the rear door edges of the XC60 models.
As a result I recently contacted Volvo Customer Care explaining what I described as a corrosion-possible design issue needing retro-fit rear wheel arch deflectors part no: 32288517 on my 2019 XC60.
They have been brilliant. After an email or two for more detail they very quickly liaised with my local dealer to confirm costs etc resulting in an appointment for me tomorrow to have the pair of deflectors supplied and fitted FOC.
Clearly this problem shouldn't exist at all but I'm very impressed with how Volvo Customer Support and the dealer have dealt with my enquiry.

Interesting that they helped you out, I’ve just contacted them and got nowhere. Basically told to go the dealer and speak to them. I did point out that if Volvo are aware and are supplying a part I shouldn’t have to foot the cost of a poor design. I’ll try the dealership in the week and see where it gets me.
