Euro pallet??
Evening all
This is random I know but I've been told that the 960/V90 is the only production car made that can fit a euro pallet in the back. Is this true? The bloke that I brought my V90 from told me this and I've been meaning to ask for a while. Any info will be very appreciated. Cheers |

Dunno but it's not a Volvo specialist question and easy enough to work out for yourself.
Look in owner's manual for or Google the wheelbase length and track width then Google the length and width of a Euro Pallet.

Plenty of vans take a pallet and plenty of van based cars around......
A euro pallet is 1,200 mm × 800 mm × 144 mm so as long as 800mm between the arches and 1200mm deep the pallet will fit but as for the overall height of goods on a pallet not sure if the is a standard height which would need to fit also... |

I was just giving you the tools to work something out for yourself. You're welcome.

Here's a random question...….Did you buy your V90 or bring it? Presumably you bought it ?!!...……...to put a pallet in maybe?!

No I didn't buy it to put a pallet in. I was just curious as to whether anyone else had heard a similar thing? |

sounds unlikely, but dumber stuff has been done. Frinstance, the Australian-born Leyland P76 was designed the accommodate a 44-gallon drum in the boot.
God only knows how you would get a full one in or out, but thats the story. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leylan...nd_engineering |

A 44 gallon drum is seriously heavy. Lol.
I've got some euro pallets at work so maybe one weekend I'll try and get one in the boot. |
