Default b6294T dimensions

Hi all,

I hope you are all well!?

I'm embarking on a new engine conversion and I wondered if anyone be so kind to give me some dimensions of their B6294T please? I have searched on here, Google and some other forums but nobody seems to have measured and made available to the public I need to mock up some rudimentary CAD models for space packaging constraints before I commit to buying an engine. I've asked a few dismantlers and sellers online but they seem less than helpful about getting a tape measure out

Without giving too much away about the prospective project, it will be going in an S1 RX8, controlled by a LifeRacing F88 ECU, possibly converted to a single Holset HE351 in the future. It's not going to be a massive bhp number chaser, but the goal of a nice flat torque curve, and around 300whp in a lightened chassis around 1200-1300kg.

So, what I am begging from you kind forum members is the following:
  • The height from the bottom of the sump pan to the center line of the crankshaft.
  • The overall length of the engine to the front face of the crank pulley
  • Overall height (from base of sump pan to the top of the cam cover
  • The Rough overall width (from extremity of the turbo's to the extremity of the intake manifold or throttle throttle body, whatever is widest

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Kris.

Is that the T6 engine? If so try asking in the XC90 (upto 2015) section as there are far more of them in that car than the S80 here.
