Default Apple iOS4 and Volvo's bluetooth compatibility

Has anyone tested it already?
Is iPhone4 or 3GS with iOS4 working with Volvo's bluetooth?

There are reports that the XC90 is having issues - check out that forum apparently IOS4 works OK with XC60 though - according to a poster on this forum in the past few days

I have iPhone 3G with iOS4 and I have not noticed any problems with the update and XC60. Before the update the voice quality during phone calls was a bit weak and slightly distorded. After the update the voice quality has improved significantly and I can hear the callers voice loud and clear.

Only issue I had was I had to re-dock the phone as the car wouldn't recognise it. Paired no problem.

I have aniphone 3G (not GS) and have been unable to pair to xc60 thus far.
No problems pairing my motorola defy. Still searching for a solution.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I have seen this, but there are others that report their iphone 3G works.
I would not expect volvo to list every old phone anyway. But thanks for the link.

As far as I can remember, 4.1 was ok but 4.2 introduced a bug so that the phone was not recognised by the Head unit. 4.3 is fine as is 4.35 which I am currently using on my iPhone 4.
