07 C30 2.0 L diesel has to go

Our Silver C30 2.0 SE Diesel regrettably has to go. We are both in our mid 70s and it's now proving ever more awkward to get our creaky old frames in and out of this low car. So we have given in and bought a Merc A series (much taller, and hope it doesn't fall over on corners). Also as much of our motoring is now relatively short journeys diesel power doesn't make the best sense.

We bought it Jan 2013 and chose diesel as back then long thrashes up the A1 were frequent. It's a high miler at 181 k but it spent most of its early years as a contract hire reps motorway cruiser so really it's just nicely run in now! Has given us no problems other than an alternator failure.

This model does NOT have the dreaded DPF !!!! and the DMF/clutch and cam belt had been replaced just before we bought it 2 yrs ago at 147k miles. New battery and good tyres, MOT until 30 Jun and it will remain taxed & insured until the end of Mar while we transfer my wife's private plate so OK for a test drive until then.

Has all the goodies of the SE and is HPI clear. A few minor stone chips typical of its age. Driver's seat has a small flaw but other than that in good condition. I have a reasonable record of the previous service; in our time I have done all servicing on a rolling basis as car maintenance has been my main hobby for over 50 yrs. I even have a 2 post lift and also own a 1972 MGB GT (which is even harder to get into !)
