A gearbox from an R was fitted after 3 months under warranty to cure a clutch vibration because the R box has a stiffer bellhousing - and a much nicer change too.

I very recently fitted a Volvo strut brace (bought from the main dealer here at €58, which is about £39) and have been extremely pleasantly surprised by the
improved general refinement of the car as well as the more obvious steering and handling bonus.

Hi folks!

Yep have one of these, my dream car, and I bought it with 45,000 miles about 6 years ago; it is now up to 99,800 miles. Certainly a Wolf in Sheep's clothing - Talk about torque steer, my brother nearly caught himself out on a trip to Switzerland went to overtake put his foot down and ended up straight across the road and had to drag it back on line!

A couple of others locally one - MYT5R at the local performance car spares outlet and another co-worker at Terminal 5 Heathrow has one - both cream estates.

Would be good to create a convoy of these vehicles on a trip out some day perhaps to make it interesting France/Switzerland - any takers???

my t5-r estate
bought locally from a chap who had 2 yes 2 olive green estates in his garage!!!i bought his one not the wifes!!,to be honest it was a bit of a mess,ie leaking rad,no brakes,suspension shot to bits,but hopefully im slowly getting there with,time and money are the only downfalls!!
so its a standard olive green est
a 96 n plate
auto transmission,
176000 on the clock
no mods as i would like to keep it as original,as poss!
located in the sunny south east!
