  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Costlier VED? I pay £30 for my D4 (5 cylinders)...

Aux belt tensioner failing, then the aux belt interfering with the cam belt, then all sorts of upset! I believe the advice for buyers is to check the service record carefully in this regard.

£30 is more than either £20 or zero.

I hope you have either got the older non VEA D4, or found one that is not having the usual EGR/Cooler issues, otherwise about 6 - 24 months down the line you will get the CEL appearing on the dashboard, take it in to your local Volvo Dealer to be faced with a bill of £1000 to replace them.

And this will probably continue to happen every 6-24 months depending on where you are driving.
