This is shaping up to be a big meet with all generations for cars coming along

It should be either the 17 or 18 of September

Default Beaulieu

In response to the comment that Beaulieu would be good venue for the BKV.

John Smith and myself looked at Beaulieu as a venue for the Southern BKV a couple of years ago but the charges being made by Beaulieu made it not to be viable to hold the event there and it is not the easiest venue to get to. As far as the National Rally and BKV but it is concerned we know that the venue needs to be in the area between The M40 Warwick Area and Nottingham are otherwise the numbers of members attending drops off quite dramatically. Looks like I wont be attending BKV and the National Rally then. Bicester I could probably do, any further than that I don't think I could make, unless there's camping allowed. Fair do's, thanks for clearing it up Nigel.

Default Beaulieu meeting

Tim
just to re-iterate VOC members attending The National Rally can camp or bring their caravan.
usually it is from the Thursday until Midday on the Monday for 2016 that means
23rd until 27 June even better is the club pays the fees

Hopefully this will help members who are not already aware.

I was thinking possibly the southern BKV, but the Beaulieu meet should be a good meet all the same. I'll still attend the southern BKV.

Where is it this year? Fort Nelson? Should be a good day was the confusion over judging catogories ever cleared up?

Cheers Nigel - I'll bring my tent as being only 19 I'm not allowed to tow a caravan. Are non-VOC members allowed to come along too, or?

When/where is the Southern BKV being held..? I heard Popham was a shambles.

Southern BKV is at Fort Nelson Fareham PO 17 6AN 1030 -1600 Sunday 22nd May 2016
Non Members are welcome at the National Rally on the Sunday as visitors but obviously cannot enter the Best Kept Volvo (BKV) competition. Non members camping and caravanning is a problem as the club DEFRA Licence only covers club members.(whose site fees are paid by the club)
