Potential new owner
Evening guys,
Potential owner with a few questions. Taking an R design 19 plate out this weekend. The deeler is kindly giving me it for the afternoon. Just wondering how impressed you owners are? I currently have a 14 plat BMW m sport touring. What difference can I expect? Realtime MPG? Also in terms of spec. I think the winter pack is a must, and Is Lane keeper assist, pilot assist and adaptive cruise control standard on all r designs? Do they have full beam assist (automatically switches between dipped and high beam) as standard? And is android auto and or keyless entry worth having? Thanks |

IMO there is more room inside the V90, but judge for yourself. The lane assist, pilot assist and ACC are standard - the Pilot Assist is excellent and I use it nearly all the time on most roads. Likewise the full beam assist is standard. I had keyless entry on a previous car and wasn't that fussed about it, it's a personal choice. I don't have Android Auto, but again had it on a previous car and don't miss it. Let us know how you get on with the test drive.

Thanks for that.
I'm really lookibg forward to it, and was impressed with the "take it for the afternoon" I'm pleased the pilot, lane, high bean assist and active cruise are standard as I wasn't too sure. That means I only need to ensure I get winter pack. I've had a good look around one and the fit and finish looks great..... Just annoyed about the stealth tax for over 40k. Onw other point. On the vav do you get live updates as standard. Thanks again |

Hi GeordieSteve,
I had the same car your thinking about purchasing. I think you will be impressed. I wrote up some thoughts on the car after owning it for a while: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...ghlight=Design AnotherV60

Thanks for that. Great in depth review.
