Absolutely nothing. But up until yesterday I did 1250 miles in 7 days so I deserve it.

I've noticed just how much my car likes to tell me things, sadly its all in Japanese. I presume the current message is something to do with the fact that the cruise control isn't working.

Did hit a pot hole pretty hard the other day and had 6 messages on the display. Left the car overnight, drove a mile and it went back to just the one message (presumably about cruise control). I like this car, seems to be self healing

I washed Gloria.

Put 5 x Orpheus alloys on eBay and a space saver OEM wheel - all clad in low mileage Michelin Pilot Sport 4s.

Chucked a load of other stuff on to pay for the M48 Parka I just bought - guy wants me to trade Gloria for a Lambretta but told him he couldn't afford the upkeep....

Hmmmm...went into 2nd gear to clear a 20 yard flood. Never saw my fuel pipe cover plate again but the fuel pipe is hanging 2 inches off the ground. Garage on Friday....

Fitted a new Brake Booster Switch. The original one had been making an annoying whistle noise for too long.

Got this from Amazon US.
All quiet again now.

Fixed a fence and very happy with it. Gloria is in the garage - the part did not arrive so £20 in a taxi home. Took the Audi A3 for an MOT and it failed...a blown headlight bulb and the tester said he couldn't open the passenger door driver's side. Hit it with a rubber mallet with a folded towel and it opens now.

Went to McDonalds for breakfast, got home, parked - flat driver's side tyre.

Cars hate me.

Put up winter tyres.

Default Winter Wheels and Tyres On

With the forecast of a cold November and a trip to Dartmoor coming up, I decided to change from my 225/45 x 17 alloys with Uniroyal Rain Experts to my winter gear , 205/55 x 16 steels and Continental Cross Climates.

Makes a big difference to the ride quality (as well as much enhanced grip on low friction surfaces.

Default More of Gloria....

Well, after the scaffolding truck put 2 dents in the driver's side passenger door, the brake squeal and etc...took Gloria in for the fuel line cover plate that was ripped off by a tree in water that just happened to be submerged. £134 bill - cheapest bill ever. However, got in car and service light came on. Drove into garage to get rest and hit a red, metal bollard so now have a dent to pull out, red paint and a graze all over my o/s front. Starting to hate Gloria but guess we were meant for each other. Having spent £18K on her I am stuck with her anyway
