Default Help needed

Hi there I have bought a 262c from the UK and brought it to

Singapore and want to register it. However I cannot find the engine number

and was hoping you could kindly assist by telling me where i can find it.

Its a V6 engine. The chassis number on the V5 is also not the same in that

all the digits are not displayed on the V5 but are on the body. Is this

normal? Chassis number is 0005101 on the V5 but on the chassis is

2626MD005101

Hi Kumar,

2 potential places.

1. Right side of the block, above the engine mounting.
2. Left side, above the power steering pump.

One tip is use a torch with a narrow beam and look for the number in the dark.

Good luck.
