Default Control Arm/bushes

Hi, just purchase an xc90 d5 r-design 2010. I have the odd knock from the suspension, it was on the mot as an advisory (both sides bushes have play in them)
looking on the forums, it seems this is quite a common thing. I'm going to just replace both anyway along with new ball joints. My question is:

who actually manufacturers the genuine Volvo parts for Volvo? had a look and there are several companies producing these parts at varying price points. Anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks!

Smile Volvo arms often cheaper

Hi,
loads of posts on here about the arms, Genuine Volvo ones are about £100 each when you ask for some discount, often cheaper than so called OEM ones.
There are some interesting you tube videos of problems with aftermarket ones so I would not bother.
Remember to buy the six new stretch bolts for re assembly, they are single use only, the rear ones in particular do stretch quite a lot and can allow the rear mounting to move if re used. (It happened to me).

These are another option.

I had them fitted on my S60 and they were really excellent.

I have just had two genuine ones fitted they were £79.50 plus vat each which I didn’t think was too bad from Volvo.

£190 all in by Volvo sounds very good. Do you know if they replaced ball joints as well?

Thanks

They didn’t say they did so I’m assuming they didn’t but I had those replaced not too long ago, but that price was on a exchange for my old ones.

I fitted powerflex poly bushes to my wife XC90 a year ago. They are excellent.

They were fitted when I had my gearbox rebuilt, they took them off and the bushes fell out it was done in Cannock so not sure which dealer supplied them.
