Default V50 T5 exhaust help....

Hi All,

I tried a search but didn't find what I was looking for.

I appear to have a blow from my downpipe, around the flexi area. Does anybody know where I can get this replacement part? Isn't the Cat part of the same section? That's going to make it expensive i fear?

I found a miltek downpipe on ebay for it (see below), but this doesn't have a cat on it.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FOCUS...0AAOSwY45UPpjd

I guess there is always powerflow/longlife etc.

Any advice would be much appreciated. :s

Many Thanks
Steve

Same issue here. Dont have a blow yet but flexi is on its last breath. Was advised to source out replacement, and as it seem - its really hard.
Yes, as you said, flexi+cat are in one original part and technically are inseparable. There are lots of "generic" flexi pipes that skilled mechanic can weld in place of damaged one, but you need to know the dimensions as no company I spoke with have anything listed for T5 model :/
the only pic I was provided by member of US forum is that one below - I cant vouch for the dimensions but apparently its from stock T5.

If you find anything please let lemme know as I may be in the same boat soon.

Yeah I found the bar one today, but that rapidly goes well in excess of a grand.

What I have found though, is my local powerflow will make a new stainless downpipe for me and mate it to the original cat.

Cost is £160+vat now that is a bit more like it.

But will see what I can repair myself when I get chance to have a proper look

Can I ask you to take a measurement of flexi part (width and diameter) when/if you disassemble it?
thanks in advance
