hi put down a deposit on an S40 d sport the other day.

my name is graham and im from derby.

couple of ques. has anyone put HID's on theres. is it H11 size.

is there any options with changing the stereo. i will need to use my ipod in my car.

ill be on the lookout for a tow bar aswell.

ow and what happend to rear wipers.

hi graham... congrats on your purchase.

I have fitted HID's to my s40 sport and can confirm the dipped beam bulbs are H7.

I have a witter detachable towbar for sale if your interested with dedicated electrics... check out the for sale board for more details

Thanks for reply will check it out. N I took the H7 hid off my old car so I don't have to buy new wans. N I found this site n u looked up ur car n it said H11. Musta bin a sh1t site.

you have the dyna-audio option which is really good.

i think an IPOD connector is an option too, it's pretty expensive to do after-market (about £300)

ill be selling a few stereo bits and the stereo out my old carf so will have some money to spend on it.

what have some of you guys done.

also do alpine etc do a stereo for the s40.

In terms of audio changing the stereo in the S40/V50 just wont work as the current unit integrates with the central dash console.

S40 already has a decent enough stereo as standard. High Performance and Premium stereo options are awesome followed by epic.
