What's the best boot liner for a 2007 V50?
We've just bought a 2007 V50, and are looking to buy a boot liner to help keep it clean as we have a dog.
Can you let me know which of the following you think would be best: http://www.boot-liner.com/acatalog/Volvo.html http://www.leisureshack.co.uk/volvo-...-bl192578.aspx http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbv...x&prodid=14481 http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbv...x&prodid=14483 http://www.towequipe.co.uk/products/...estate-04.html http://www.towequipe.co.uk/products/...ate-04-on.html http://www.volvocars.com/uk/all-cars...4-874b330fb9f0 http://www.volvopartshop.com/cargo-box-v50-439-p.asp http://www.volvopartshop.com/mat-car...tic-1975-p.asp Many thanks |

I too am looking for a mat, so it would be interesting to hear how your one is Tim. The price sounds too good to be true.
My mate has a V70 with a genuine Volvo one but the quality is not as good as I would imagined it would have been - it is not rubbery, more plasticy and has lost it's shape a bit. Looking at the Volvo ones that Becks7 has on his post, Volvo describe them as plastic.....so if they are like the V70 one, I would avoid it! |

Hi
We bought a similar mat for my partners Dodge Nitro for the dog but the problem is it is plasticy with rubber insert and slides around the boot so not very good when the dog is jumping in and out etc. I have bought a rubber mat off Ebay today which you trim to size and this is 100% rubber so wont slide around. I am thinking of getting one for my S40 which will also fit the V50 I think as well. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...#ht_1066wt_932 Rgds J |

Here the one I bought (Ebay item number 370449441943) its not rubber at all but plastic and fits really well with a 2" upstand all around. It leave the pockets fee at the sides (for putting bottles in). Its not very 'non slip' but it has a dog blanket in it anyway.
I wouldn't have bought it if I could have seen it first. But it was cheap and does the job. |

have the second roofbox one above - does a good job and is a pretty good fit but I can see the price had gone up >£20 since I bought it a few years back!

I have a proper Volvo boot liner really good product but not worth the best part of £80.
Luckly the dealer threw it in the car as part of the deal.

I have the type on that eBay link (it's the same type as the towequipe links too). We have an anti-slip on in the Volvo and the non-anti-slip in the A2. They are both absolutely fine and 3yrs on they are still in good condition with no signs of cracking or such like.
