Not that often, but sports aren't that much faster if that's what you are thinking. Up your boost with an MBC and you'll easy get to the same power anyway.

Inside this thread
http://www.turbobricks.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=280557 there is an excellent explanation of the "sports edition" cars and their differences to same year models. Turbo+ i.e. EBC seems to be the only power boost ...

Here are two thread worth a read. I think the they are a good buy in manual but need a few go faster bits to make it a real 'Sports'
http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=199554 http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=200801 I have always wanted to get it around 220bhp below a standard 850r at 240bhp as that's where this should have been. But 190bhp is not bad with stock.

Two, three, maybe four
There are two currently in the "For Sale" threads - Fossilfish's sand gold one and Steve Curtis's pearlescent black one. I think there's still one near Edinburgh in need of a LOT of TLC, and IIRC Diesel-do-nicely also had one for sale recently. I have one that I am not at present driving but it has a problem with flatspots in the power delivery and it owes me a lot of money so I plan to put it back on the road next March and take it to a rolling road seriously to find the cause of that damned flat spot.
