Due to unpopular demand from my nearest & dearest, it looks like I'll have to let go of my faithful V70 & a possible end to my 32yrs of Volvo driving !!

I'm not gonna waste anybody's time/journey but if you're more mechanically minded & practical than me then this may be for you? Otherwise you'll be paying more for labour than the parts cost & end up like me.

I've owned this car for approx 12 yrs, never been sorned, in daily use locally/nationally, bought it at 130k miles & has now just over 260k miles. Original engine, smooth gearbox & exhaust & currently has a valid MOT until April 2018.

Heated front cream/oak leather seats (drivers electric) & all in good condition, replaced door cards from a T5 (stitched type so no bubbling), rubber floor trays, air con was recharged at Kwik-Fit several yrs ago & showed no leaks but never used it anyway. Elec sunroof left tilted over night under trees in summer & bits got in. Managed to get most out & get it closed & didn't touch it again.

Cambelt changed @ 198k miles, earlier this year I had 5 x OEM front engine mounts replaced, 2 x control arms, 2 x front tyres - so much difference in the handling & cabin vibrations. In 2016, crankshaft pulley, bolt & tensioners replaced. Recent years, 3 x new brake calipers replaced and 2 x handbrake cables, Crystal headlights fitted with Osram Nightbreakers Unlimited - 20 times better than my old set.

When I bought the car there was a slow oil leak from either the sump or oil pump - it's soooo slow that I've never had the need to ever top up the oil (honest). Just continued with the regular weekly checks and annual service from a trusted local mechanic & a Volvo Independent. Both said it fix it if it gets worse - and it never did !!

Car comes with 2 x keys & fobs, original set of car mats, matching load cover which broke when I borrowed the car to a friend - have seen posts to repair with jubilee clips, 2 x spare fuel pumps - one intermittent, spare downpipe/cat, a selection of window switches, red front bumper, original headlamps, door mirror & a wooden matching gear-knob which I never got around to fitting. Ohhh, also 4 x spare Perfo alloys with almost(?) legal tread.

Are you still there??? The bodywork has no serious dents but has the usual scuff marks, dings etc as you would expect form an urban driven 19 yr old car. I did have a 'cheap' respray when I originally bought it & when I evenyually get the picture uploaded, then you will be able to see the bits of white primer that was used.

My intentions was to keep this car for many more years and a proper respray would have been the last thing to be done once all the mechanics were updated - sadly, it doesn't look as if I'll see it and hope it goes to a good home & eventually gets done.

Price? Was looking around £850 for everything !!

Forgot to mention...in Feb 2017 had the ABS module refurbed and in 2016 had 2 x new front shocks, 2 x upper bearings & 2 x rubber mounts.
