no oil reaching turbo
Having problems with my xc90 d5, the turbo seized & I am in the process of replacing it now. I have checked the oil supply to the turbo and it is almost non existent, the old oil was very black. Is there a filter inline in the block or can i blow it back with compressed air - any advice please.

i would buy a new feed pipe and see how much oil comes out before you connect it to the turbo .. seems the oil changes were neglected OR a cheap oil used?

If it is that bad then the only reliable way is to dismantle the engine and clean out all the oilways . It must have had a dubious life .
Maybe cheaper in time just to fit a used engine ...
