Swapped injector rails around yesterday, injector 3 is now spare on the rail with plug numbers 4 & 5. Car runs much smoother on tick over and feels more lively. However I am getting an engine warning light after about ten mins of running on lpg. Car feels fine, no chug or misfire. Plugged my code reader in and no code ? I did mess with the plug gaps, wonder if I got these wrong could cause this. May try again tomorrow.

if it through up a light if you get to the diagnostcs it should tell you

turn key to position II
- press read button on turn signal stalk
- at same time press and release the REAR fog light switch 2 times
- you should be able to read the messages by pressing read again to go on next message.

Cheers, I'll give it a go tomorrow.
Merry Christmas

Tried the above, and no messages besides abs/skid service. Trawling the net it seems an abs fault can bring on the engine light ? Anyway car seems to be running ok, no chugging etc, however the lpg regulator is doing a lot of ticking, as though a solenoid or relay is switching on and off ?
Few runs and just getting p0502 code, poss the abs ring or corrosion.

Just an update on this mini saga, thanks to Thantos, a new abs sensor was fitted, abs light went out, also gave the reluctor ring a good clean and inspection, all is ok. Engine light has also gone out.
I have run the car this week on a full tank, and so far have achieved 265 miles and not run out yet, so thats 40 plus more than i was getting.
I did also set the plug gaps to 0.7 from the factory spec 0.8, car is much smoother on lpg to the point i cant tell from petrol.
Next is a trip to DJ Autogas in Durham for a bit of a software and set up check, and theyve kindly offered to assist in my fitting of a towbar, as the gas tank is a little in the way.

Just got 330 miles before gas tan out, not bad for an xc on a combination of motorway and b roads.
Did the car have a towbar on when Liam brought it for the conversion. It has clearly had one at some point, curious where it's gone.

I have a feeling that it might have been removed beforehand.

If there was a towbar fitted I would normally have fitted the LPG filler point to it.

Just curious as I'm in need of a towbar and hoping it will go on with no problems. Just refilled the gas tank, 62 ltrs to full after 330 ish miles worked out about 25mpg.
