Default XC60 Radio Interference

Hello

My 2010 XC60 has just developed an annoying ticking sound on FM best described like a scratch on an old vinyl record.
It does not increase in speed with the vehicle, nor does it change when using any electrical components.
The only time it stops is when I turn off the engine it slows down and does about five more noises before vanishing.
The fault is not there on AM and if you have the tuner off station on FM it’s very clear.
Has this been experienced by anyone else?
Suggestions would be appreciated.

Best regards

Rob

Unplug anything you have connected to any power outlet.
Cheap USB chargers are known to generate interference
Unplug any dashcams as well
See if anything changes.

If that doesn't change, think of maybe the fuel pump: remove the fuel pump fuse and see if it disappears. Of course, the engine won't run without a fuel pump running....
