Default d5 problem

hi. my swirl flaps gone and i did replacement. after that there is hissing sound from the engine bay - just when accelerate.also it does look like something sticks up somewhere and car pulls well and sometimes is sluggish-not feeling as it is 180hp. dashboard not shows any error but vida constantly say ECM-18B0 swirl actuator - offset fault. it does look like this electric actuator works ok. any ideas what to do as garages have no clue what to do?

The ECM isn't happy with the swirl damper adaption process hence the code.
Vida explains this if you click on the code and Vida also gives you the possible causes.

Did you run the swirl actuator adaption after the replacement as per Vida instructions?

Hissing under load is a boost leak, get under the car and look at the turbo to intercooler plastic hose, these commonly split, it'll be rather oily!
I fixed mine with epoxy and refitted with a mikalor clamp and used extra strong hairspray as a seant on the mating surfaces.

i did even smoke test in garage and coulsnt track any leak !! there is also slight hissing sound when depress brake pedal so it may brake servo ends up soon but i dont think so it may cause hissing sound as everyrhing is electronically controlled isnt?

thabks. but it doesnt mean hissing goes away u can notice it more when engine is cold when is hot barely noticeable. but after that swirl adaptation the noise has decreased. and as i said before just under load in any other case no hissing at all.

It'll just be boost noises and completely normal, unless it's really loud.
As I said check the hoses and pipework to the intercooler and look for oily residue, if you've got some then there's a crack/split/loose connection.
